I’m Damian Morris, a tattoo artist based in Auckland, New Zealand — most people know me as @deceasd_.
I started tattooing in 2013 and have spent the past years refining my style and building a body of work that reflects the things I’m most interested in: bold imagery, clean execution, and designs that feel intentional.
My work is rooted in bold blackwork and illustrative tattooing, often leaning toward darker, heavier imagery. I’m drawn to strong shapes, high contrast, and designs that hold their weight over time.
Every tattoo starts as an idea and becomes something real through a back-and-forth process. I want the work to mean something to you but still carry the approach and style I stand by. I’m always looking to push my work further and approach every tattoo as a chance to do that.
